STANDARD ENGLISH COURSES

Standard English courses are based on a logical explanation of grammar, expanding vocabulary, pronunciation practice and the teacher?s personal approach to teaching students. English courses are divided into several levels of difficulty (from beginner to advanced) and to determine the level of your English, we have prepared initial placement test. A similar 

test given each student prior to course enrolment. English courses at the London Institute, Prague are taught by qualified native speakers from Great Britain.

English classes at London Institute, Prague are the most important of our taught courses, and therefore we place great emphasis on them, especially in the selection of textbooks and other study materials. In addition to books, used in conjunction with audio recordings we also use articles in international journals, newspapers and the Internet. The most frequently used books are published by Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Longman and Penguin.

English courses are held once or twice a week for a length of 90 minutes. For those who can not attend an English course twice a week, weekly lessons are possible. If you miss a class, self-study is recommended. Class size is a minimum of 4 and maximum of 11 students.
