CAE Courses

London Institute, Prague offers high quality CAE courses, which are among the more challenging courses, at least in relation
to FCE courses. The course is at level C1 on the CEFR. The reason is the higher degree of proficiency in English, both in writing and especially the ability of understanding and conversation in English.

CAE exams are announced by the British Council several times a year (usually in December, March and June). CAE courses are designed so that these terms precede the official CAE test. CAE courses themselves copied the content CAE tests- students in CAE courses learn grammar, listening and speaking in English at a level to be able to handle demanding CAE tests.

CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) consists of:

•      Reading (1 hour and 15 minutes)
•      Writing (1 hour and 30 minutes)
•      Use of English (1 hour)
•      Listening (approximately 40 minutes)
•      Speaking (approximately 15 minutes)
